Today a public consultation on a new Early Help Partnership Strategy has been launched by Buckinghamshire's Children and Young People's Partnership. In Buckinghamshire, our Early Help Partnership Strategy expires in March 2022. It’s now time for the organisations to produce a new strategy, a plan for the next three years on how they will improve this support, measure success, and try new things.
Buckinghamshire’s Children and Young People’s Partnership want to make sure that children, young people and their families get the support they need, when they need it, to deal with any problems they may be facing before they get worse. This support is known as early help and is provided by lots of different services across Buckinghamshire. These organisations include the Council, health services, education and voluntary and community sector organisations. Early help services can offer support as soon as a family is facing a problem, through advice and information, drop-in sessions delivered at Family Centres across the county, or direct support from a professional who will work with a family and other professionals to agree a plan to help.
Buckinghamshire Council are asking as many people as possible to give their views on the strategy and the priorities to help make it the best it can be. There will also be an opportunity to give your feedback in person by attending online events being help on, Tuesday 9 November from 2pm to 3pm, Wednesday 10 November from 11am to 12pm and Monday 15 November from 7pm to 8pm.
