On Friday 15th January Cllr Andrew Cole was called out to help alongside the Aylesbury Town Council Maintenance team to deploy the flood defences again at The Willows. This was a preventative deployment due to the forecast of heavy rain as opposed to the reactive deployment we saw in October. Thankfully the defences were not needed this time.
Cllr Andrew Cole said, "I have sent photos and again raised my concerns with HS2 regarding their lack of flood data and mitigation measures to ensure that the residents and their properties are protected. My thanks to the residents, BORG 4x4 and of course the Aylesbury Town Council Maintenance team for reacting so quickly."
