A new Post Office opened for business inside the Budgen Stores, 31-35 Parton Road. As well as mail they deal with automated bill payments, travel money (pre-order) and as well as personal and business banking.
Cllr Mark Winn said, “the new Post Office is open from 6am until 10pm which giveing local residents a great amount of flexibility. The Parton Road shops are a great local asset which many people walk to, and with their great fresh produce we can all help support our local independent shops. This addition of a Post Office counter can only add to the area.”
Aylesbury MP David Lidington officially opened the Post Office saying "I was delighted to do the official opening of a new sub-post office at Budgens Parton Road, Aylesbury. This new sub-post office will be much more convenient for residents in the Oakfield Rd, Tring Rd & Limes Avenue area. It was also great to see fundraisers from the Florence Nightingale Hospice out in force raising money at the event!"
