The Aylesbury South East team sent around a note to residents around William Harding School this week regarding the works due to be undertaken on the footpaths. You can read the letter below.
Dear Residents,
Just to let you know that the footway improvement work for the pavement outside William Harding school is due to start on Monday 31st January with work completed by 25th February.
Whilst work is in progress there will be a footway closure and give and take traffic management in operation (Monday – Friday between 9.30-15.30hrs). If work is delayed due to weather conditions, we have been told information signs on site will be updated to let residents know. Homes near to the school will have received a letter from Transport for Buckinghamshire requesting that during this period vehicles are not parked on the road and/or footway as this will prevent the work from being completed. Please also be aware that whilst work is ongoing it will potentially have a further impact on traffic flow around the area, especially during peak times.
We are pleased that this pavement is finally being repaired and undergoing a complete rebuild rather than just being resurfaced. If you have any problems, please do let us know.
Yours
Cllrs Sue Chapple, Denise Summers, David Thompson & Roger King
