I recently attended the Holi - Spring Festival of Colour, hosted by the Aylesbury Hindu Temple Trust at the Bucks County Museum.
The festival is a celebration of the arrival of spring and the money raised was to support the Aylesbury Hindu Temple Trust’s desire to open a Hindu Temple in Aylesbury. The event had numerous stalls with Indian street food and handicrafts as well as the famous dry colours and Dhol performance.
It was fun family-friendly festival bringing together the whole community. I am very happy to support the campaign for a Hindu temple in Aylesbury. Our town like our country is a community where people of different religious faiths live as neighbours in friendship and mutual respect.
