This Earth Day, we are pleased to see Buckinghamshire Council have hit a major milestone in the Bucks Tree Mission, with over 193,000 trees planted since 2021! It means they are well on their way to planting 543,000 trees—one for every resident—by 2031, as part of their Climate Change and Air Quality Strategy. 🌳
From large-scale plantings on council lands to local community initiatives, they've made incredible progress, including the completion of Wing Wood with 132,000 trees and the planting of five new Tiny Forests across the county, enhancing biodiversity and community engagement.
