Today the Government announced that due to the coronavirus outbreak the local elections that were planned for 7th May 2020 will be postponed until 2021.
Although the elections will be postponed for a year the new unitary Buckinghamshire Council will still come into being on 1st April. The four current District Councils and County Council will cease to exist on 31st March.
In 2021 Buckinghamshire will be going to the polls for Buckinghamshire Council (the new unitary), Parish/Town Council and Police & Crime Commissioner Elections.
